Reviewing PDF Documents in Acrobat: Visual QuickProject, Peachpit Press
| Highlights | Contents | Errata |
Peachpit's Visual QuickProject series is designed to show you how to do a task from start to finish. In this case, how to prepare a file for reviewing in Acrobat, how to initiate and conduct the review, and then what to do with the review results. The cover explains: "If you want to make a great-looking PDF document fast but don't want to get bogged down in the details, then you need a Visual QuickProject Guide! You don't need to know every feature—you just want to know how to get your project done."

How The Book is Designed
Reviewing PDF Documents in Acrobat takes you through a project. In the book, you follow along with the TravelASIA editorial team as they work on an issue of their magazine. The project involves three pages that include a sample Table of Contents and two alternate covers for the next issue, shown below.
The following image shows a typical page layout in the book. The instructions are very clear, and important terms and commands are highlighted in dark orange text. At the end of each chapter, you find more information about what has been happening in the project in a section called "extra bits". As the name implies, these are extras that are nice to know, and help you understand why you are doing something more clearly, but aren't required information to work on the project.
Downloads
The files for download and their sizes are listed on the Downloads page. Please pick and choose which files you need. For example, you may want to start from the combined file, named Binder1.pdf, so download that file. If you want to see the comments used in the project, download the FDF_files.zip. If you want to see how the project file looks after Tessa has integrated comments but before she adds a status to them, download TravelASIA.3.pdf, and so on.
The downloads for this book include a bonus chapter with which you can integrate comments from the project directly into the source Word document.
